Money Received, New Campaigns, and Reparations Payments
GFM funds have been deposited! We will be reimbursing for payroll from earlier this month, paying out for website work and reimbursing for graphic design, that includes 3 Black owned Businesses, and issuing reparation payments for Jena Domach, a Black mother whom was arrested protesting for Black lives! We are still hoping Jena can join in an internship. We do not underpay people here. We do not ask for discounts. We compensate because respecting people means paying fairly.
Video project will be underway.
We are pursuing other forms of advocacy, including establishing a Community Court Watching campaign. The system is able to function with disregard for human life because the community is largely unaware of the day to day process. We are bringing more staff on to facilitate this endeavor. Talitha is organizing.
Drop Charges and Expunge records Campaign:
You can support protesters by sending a demand to King County Prosecutor Dan Satterberg and Seattle City Attorney Pete Holmes: https://tinyurl.com/nocharge2020
The funds will continue to be used for protester representation as the 3 clients, Joaquin, Seth, and Evan are still awaiting writ responses, and could still face charges. We are also working to make sure we can visit clients arrested if the City makes a move to invade CHOP. Taking these cases means the firm is unable to take other paying cases.
There has been contact made with the King Co Prosecutors office regarding their filing decisions.
Thank you for your donations, time, and commitment to liberty!
