Seattle Protestors

July 25:

They're shooting flash bangs at people.

This is the aggression of SPD. They are not supposed to start a panic and have protesters rushing. People were getting run over. A woman was snatched in the go Pro footage and became non responsive. Cops threw her in the back of a police van instead of an ambulance. You can see her in the go pro footage and the follow up live footage. The 10:50 into the GoPro Footage till the end.

Community who resided in the complex on East Olive were telling police to leave.

This is video of right before the arrest of Samantha Six (in Black jacket, jeans, and mask) and Damien Boyd (reddish orange shorts).

Note the officers following closely trying to rush a crowd. Note how everyone is leaving trying to comply. Their tactics are in direct violation of their own policy. Samantha was charged with a misdemeanor. Damien is STILL in jail on a felony investigation hold. Cops claim he assaulted one of them...

Still in jail. Still in jail.

This is policing.

Damien is scheduled for court at 230 pm today at the King County Jail courtroom 1. He was doused in pepper spray & not allowed to shower. He still had pepper spraying on him when I went for the jail visit around 730 am. He was cuffed for 7 hours. He had bruises on his wrists and his hands were burning because of how tight the cuffs were. Cops put their knee on his back and neck during arrest. Both his back and neck hurt. He was not given medical treatment. Again, he was thrown in a van with people with no PPE. He requested masks and testing multiple times. They didn't read him his rights or tell him what he was charged with. He is from Seattle. He could hear his partner, Samantha, screaming for help and medical. The nurse who gave him Neosporin at 4 am asked him to tell Samantha to shut up.

His glasses, car keys, phone, gas mask, and helmet are gone.

This is the response for daring to say Black Lives Matter.

July 26:

The jail clerk just got in right after this video. Some people being sent to Kent:

SPD was so violent that Samantha Six became non responsive during arrest. I went to see her in jail. Jail staff claimed she refused the visit. I asked three times and tried to a face -to-face, but Sgt Schneider told me she refused. This was false. The jail never gave her the opportunity.

Info from Samantha Six. She was assaulted and incapacitated by cops when arrested. She has a seizure disorder. She was denied meds, phone call, and an attorney visit. Mocked and put in solitary.

Samantha Six is a sexual assault survivor. This is what is happening inside the King County Jail.

July 27:

This is the superform sent for the case of Damien Boyd. This is what SPD is claiming to justify a felony assault charge. There's a complete lack of detail, and particularity as to Mr. Boyd. They use a false narrative around the protests to base this complaint. There's clear video evidence to contradict this statement. Mr. Boyd has been caged since Saturday afternoon.

Update: The State is declining to file. He'll be released later tonight.

The number of civil suits that will arise from SPD's brutality.… The officers don't pay it. It'll be public money- during an economic crisis.

SPD claimed protesters started a fire at Starbucks. There was a late night press conference and Best and Scroggins, the Fire Chief, repeated it. THERE WAS NO FIRE. That was completely false. Yet people were mauled during 1A activity.

July 28:

The City of Seattle declined to file on Samantha Six. Arrest records are there 2 years. Note the City/ State Pros aren't taking action to check SPD. SPD can't do this alone. It's a full circle collaboration with the Prosecutors and Courts.

July 29:

King County Superior Court judge rules that Durkan recall effort can go forward, batting down the mayor's motion for reconsideration: "The gravamen of the court's ruling is more broadly the alleged failure to protect the health and well-being of the community."

More copy and paste by Seattle Police Department.

These statements, signed under penalty of perjury, kept people in jail on felony holds. Folks have to wait 2-3 years to have the arrest records expunged.

No identifiers, not listed officer as witness or complaining witness.

"This brutality is not new for people of color,” Ash said in her later interview with the Emerald. “Our crime was protesting and … that brutality happened to us, but we know it’s not new, and that’s why we are there in the first place — to support Black lives. And that putting us in there, brutalizing us, made us stronger and connected us, and we will be back out there protesting as soon as we can.”
